InterAid Uganda Ltd. (IAU) IS A NON Governmental, humanitarian national organization established in 1988. It is registered with the National NGO board, and the Uganda National NGO forum. IAU has been and is still involved in projects geared towards the improvement of livelihoods of the disadvantaged persons both in rural and urban areas. IAU has a wide experience in the field of implementing, monitoring and evaluation of Health, Environment, Human Rights, Displaced Persons, Micro finance and capacity building programmes.
IAU full operations this year to begin on 1st February 2012.
ReplyDeleteIAU has signed a grant with the Japanese Embassy worth US$ 96,000 to implement a rain water harvesting project in 8 communities, 5 schools and one health facility in Nyarusiza sub county , Kisoro District. The signing ceremony took place on the 20th January, 2012 at the Japanese Embassy offices in Kampala. The project is to last for not more than 12 months. It will make children access water easily and the communities will be saved from the long distance walked to fetch water in the sub county which is water stressed.
